Here are some suggestions on recommended foods for building muscle:

It’s all about PROTEIN:

  • Chicken is a good source of protein which is necessary in building muscle but understand that chicken is best eaten without the skin so as to shy away from the oily part.
  • Eggs are highly recommended.  Take out the yolk and just eat the egg whites.  All the protein is in the egg whites, so this is better for your body.
  • Beef can also be eaten since it has protein content.  Grilled Beef is better since it does not require any oil in the cooking process.

Carbohydrates are also needed by those who work out.  Carbs give you energy and you need energy in order to perform the task at hand.

  • Oats, whole wheat bread, brown rice, and cereals, are good sources of carbohydrates.  These foods can be combined with protein.  Carbs are best eaten usually after a hard workout in order to replenish the body and gain the energy back.

Fruits and vegetables can also be combined in your diet.

  • Bananas, apples, spinach, tomatoes, and carrots, are just some of the many fruits and vegetables that you can eat.  These help to increase your immune system.

Remember, it is all about balance.  Eat the right foods, do the proper training, and rest assured, you will see results in no time.  Determination is the key to how to build muscle.
